Warranty
Every package we install carries manufacturer warranty on the three components that matter — panels, inverter and battery — plus two commitments that are ours alone: a temporary replacement unit during any claim, and a year of workmanship cover with cleaning and maintenance included.
Component warranty
These are the suppliers' own warranties, passed through to you. We are not the underwriter — the manufacturer is. What we do is handle the claim for you rather than handing you a hotline number.
- Solar panels12 years
- Covers manufacturing defects on the bifacial panels supplied with your package — Trina, JA Solar, AE Solar, Jinko or AIKO depending on availability at the time of install.
- Hybrid inverter5 years
- Covers the hybrid inverter that manages your panels, battery and grid connection — Deye or Solis depending on the package.
- LiFePO4 battery5 years
- Covers the lithium battery module — CST, LVTopsun, Ginza, Dyness, AlpSolarr or Fidus depending on the package.
Skyelight exclusive
Temporary replacement unit
Should the installed battery or inverter develop a warrantable fault, Skyelight Solar will provide a temporary replacement unit to keep the system operational while the affected unit is being repaired or replaced under warranty.
1-year workmanship warranty, with cleaning and maintenance included
One year of cover on the installation itself — mounting, cabling, and configuration — including panel cleaning and system maintenance during that period.
A warranty claim on an inverter or battery means the unit leaves your roof for repair or replacement, and that process runs on the supplier's timeline, not ours. Without a stand-in unit your system is offline for the duration — which for a hybrid system means no brownout backup and a Meralco bill back to where it started. The workmanship cover exists for the same reason: most of what goes wrong with a solar installation is not the hardware but how it was fitted, and that part is entirely ours. These are the parts of the cover we control, so they are the parts we commit to.
The fine print
- Warranty periods start from the date of commissioning and handover, not the date of purchase.
- Component warranties are the manufacturers' own terms, passed through to you. We handle the claim on your behalf rather than sending you to the supplier.
- Exact brands vary by package and by what is in stock at the time of installation. The units actually fitted are listed on your handover documentation.
