About Skyelight Solar

Skyelight Solar is family-owned and family-run. There is no showroom to rent, no sales floor to staff, and no commissioned agent between you and the people who will actually be on your roof.

That is the whole reason our packages come in lower than the big installers. It is not thinner panels or a cheaper inverter — the bill of materials is the same brands anyone else quotes. It is that our overhead is a fraction of theirs, and we would rather pass that on than spend it on a storefront you will never visit.

We were installing hybrid solar systems for close to two years — since 2024 — before the business was formally registered in May 2026.

We registered on purpose, and not because anyone made us. Solar is a large, infrequent purchase, and a customer handing over several hundred thousand pesos deserves a contract they can hold us to and an official receipt for what they paid. You cannot issue either as an informal operation. Registering was how we made ourselves accountable in writing.

So the registration is recent while the installation experience is not. We would rather say that plainly than imply either one is something it is not.

We operate online and meet clients by appointment at our own home in Marilao, Bulacan — which is also our demo site. There is a working 12 kW inverter with 32 kWh of LiFePO4 storage on the roof, running the household it was built for.

That is a deliberate choice over a showroom. A showroom shows you a panel on a stand. Here you can see a full hybrid system that has been through the rainy season and a few brownouts, look at how the array is mounted, and ask what it actually does at 8pm on a cloudy evening.

Our installers are trained, and the owner is trained and certified as well — he is on site for installations rather than sending a crew and reading about it afterwards.

It matters more than it sounds. Most of what goes wrong with a solar installation in the Philippines is not the equipment; it is mounting into the wrong part of a yero roof, undersized cabling, or a battery configured without regard for how the household actually uses power after dark. Those are workmanship problems, and they are the reason we do not subcontract the install.
